Real cherry is often considered the top-of-the-line in hardwoods. Most expensive and fine furniture is made of this wood which is characterized by its fine, uniform grain patterns. Cherry is mostly finished in a dark red or brown color. All cherry products will darken somewhat with age due to exposure to sun or artificial light.
